You own all notes, tasks, voice recordings, and other content you create in Dodo. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content.

Your content is stored on your device. We are not responsible for content lost due to device failure, accidental deletion, or App removal. We strongly recommend enabling iCloud backup through iOS Settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Dodo to:

• Store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or offensive content • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App • Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services • Circumvent any security or access controls within the App

In-app purchases

Dodo may offer optional paid features or subscriptions processed through Apple's App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple's payment terms. We do not store your payment information.

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. Contact Apple Support to request a refund.

Privacy

Your use of Dodo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at dodonotes.app/privacy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Disclaimer of warranties

Dodo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate them at any time by deleting the App from your device.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you via an in-app notice. Continued use of Dodo after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
